Fioricet Online

If you see information about a drug called fioricet online, you may learn that it is actually a combination of acetaminophen (a non-aspirin pain reliever), a barbiturate called butalbital, and caffeine.  Fioricet (sometimes known as Esgic) can be used for tension and migraine headaches, but also from pain in the shoulders and upper back.  Doctors often prescribe fiorcet when other headache medications are not working for migraines and tension headaches.  However, people who take fioricet must be careful not to exceed the proper dosage.  It is recommended that patients take 1 to 2 fioricet tablets every 4 hours.  However, taking more than 12 in a twenty-four hour period can result in an overdose of both butalbital and caffeine and the acetaminophen can cause liver damage.
Fioricet can have adverse side effects such as abdominal pains, nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, a feeling of intoxication (including light-headedness), a feeling of being sedated, shortness of breath, and you can become addicted to it.
You should never mix alcohol with fioricet for two reasons.  One is the possible liver damage it may cause.  The other reason is that combining alcohol with the butatbital in fioricet can cause respiratory depression.  Patients who are deemed special risk – such as those who have impaired renal or hepatic function, abdominal conditions, or the elderly – should not take fioricet without consulting first with their doctor.
Because there are many online pharmacies today, you may be able to purchase fioricet online. However, you should always consult with your doctor before taking any prescription medication.  Just because you can get fioricet online does not mean it is the right prescription for you.   The doctor will need to weigh other factors such as other medication conditions.  When you take fioricet, you put yourself at risk of possible liver damage, so the doctor has to examine other treatments before prescribing this one.
