With drug use becoming a concerning issue in the work force, many professional companies have decided to mandate a urine drug screening test for for employees who have just been hired, before they start their new job. Urine drug screening is usually done at a different location than where the person is going to be working, and is usually done by a medical professional. Sometimes urine drug screening can be done on a test card where the results are determined easily at at the testing location; however, they tend to not be as accurate, turning out more positive results than which really occur. Since there is such a digression in accuracy, a urine drug screening test is usually sent to a lab where the urine drug screening sample goes through a gas chromatography/mass spectrometry process, which is also referred to a GCMS.
Otherwise, the urine drug screening undergoes a liquid chronography or immunoassay analysis test. Urine drug screening which is tested with these later three products, is much more accurate then the home screening testing products. While in an ideal world, the results of a urine drug screening would be accurate, it is commonly known that urine sample substitution and other adulterations do frequently occur. In fact, as the mandatory regulations of taking urine drug screening tests become more common, people have began to make professions out of creating products that help people pass their urine drug test. While this is very unethical, many people choose to try and outsmart the urine drug screening tests by taking these alternative products.
Even though a few people have been able to cheat their way through a urine drug screening, the drug testing process has helped many companies to hire more credible people at their companies and not worry about drug problems arising at their companies and interfering with their work and their production level.
